The Exquisite Corpse collage revealed.
Exquisite Corpse was invented by surrealists in which artists create art on paper, fold it to conceal their creation, and then pass it to the next artist for a further contribution.
The name is derived from a phrase that resulted when Surrealists first played a game, "Le cadavre exquis boira le vin nouveau." ("The exquisite corpse shall drink the new wine.”) A person could be drawn in four steps: The head, the torso, the legs and the feet. As a last step, a player could label the drawing, still unseen, with someone's name.
